Faith Food Pantry gathers and provides food to needy families through agencies and other churches that request food on their behalf. Food comes from donations and the Capital Area Food Bank. Volunteers help by bringing paper bags or donating time to fill orders or to pick up donated food.

Manos' principal mission is to provide dental care to the working poor. Manos also provides a food pantry, clothes closet, school supplies, U.S. citizenship classes, English as a second language (ESL) classes, and pastoral care. We support an ordained Presbyterian minister, Josefina Inay, in a predominantly Mayan community. We assisted this woman to go from lay to ordained minister and provide her the support to serve as a full time leader for her Presbytery. She links the health and social programs of the Presbytery to the local village congregations. We learn more of their culture and faith as we share the basic support for Josefina.

As part of the larger church, we pay a participation fee based on the number of active members. In 2000 the rate is $5.51 per active member. In addition to covering administrative costs and providing services such as camps and resource centers, the Mission Presbytery uses a significant portion of these fees to support over 20 outreach and service projects.
