Faith Presbyterian Church
We extend a cordial invitation to anyone who accepts Jesus Christ as Lord and who wants to express Christ’s discipleship in the work of a church family to become a member of our congregation, regardless of religious background, race, sexual orientation, or economic condition. You can join Faith Presbyterian Church in one of three ways:
By Profession of Faith
Those who have never joined a Christian church may join our church by profession of faith (simply by affirming before session of our church that you publicly accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior). Those who have never been baptized in a church will be baptized when they join our church; however, those who have been previously baptized are not required to be “rebaptized.”
By Reaffirmation of Faith
Those who have previously made a profession of faith and have been baptized in another Christian church, but who have been either inactive or who wish to reaffirm their Christian commitment, may join our church by the reaffirmation of their faith when you meet with the session.
By Letter of Transfer
Those who are members of any Christian church from whom we can obtain a membership letter may join our church by requesting that their church letter be transferred to our church.
To join our church in any of the above ways, you simply need to make your desire known to either the pastor, lay leader, an elder, or one of our ushers and schedule a time to meet with the session, usually after a worship service. We encourage those who are interested in learning more about the Presbyterian Church or what church membership means to us to participate in one of the Inquirers’ Classes conducted during the Sunday School hour by our pastor.
